Celebrity sex scandals always seem to make the front page of the newspapers and keep the public's interest for years. Some celebrity sex scandals help the celebrity's career, while other celebrity sex scandals can bring a career to its knees. See how many of these celebrity sex scandals you remember.
Pee Wee Herman. Pee Wee Herman was a popular entertainment figure with children and adults. He had made several movies and had his own television show before his own celebrity sex scandal brought his career to a halt. In July of 1991, Pee Wee Herman (whose real name is Paul Reubens) was arrested for public indecency in a Florida adult movie theater. At first, the police did not realize who Reubens was. But when they figured it out, Pee Wee Herman made headlines for all of the wrong reasons.
Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. In 1995, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee were one of the most famous couples in Hollywood. When their celebrity sex scandal broke in the form of a sex tape, their popularity only increased. Initially, Pamela and Tommy sued the company that was distributing the adult video. But the two parties eventually reached an agreement and the tape has gone on to be one of the most popular pornography movies ever sold.
Tiger Woods. During the Thanksgiving season of 2009, Tiger Woods made headlines for a car crash he was involved in outside his home. The car crash, as it turns out, was the result of an argument between himself and his now ex-wife Elin about Tiger's extra-marital affairs. In the end, it was discovered that Tiger had affairs with over a dozen different women while he was married. He lost almost all of his sponsorships and had to take a one-year leave from professional golf to regroup his life.
R. Kelly. In 2002, R&B singer R. Kelly was arrested for appearing in a pornographic video tape that showed the singer having sex with an underaged girl and then urinating on her. The trial lasted for years until Kelly was finally acquitted in 2008.
Paris Hilton. One of the most famous celebrity sex scandals of all time happened in 2000 when Paris Hilton, the heiress to the Hilton hotel group family fortune, was featured in a sex tape that was leaked to the internet. That first tape was only one in a series of at least two other videos and a host of graphic pictures that Hilton was featured in. Hilton parlayed her infamy into roles in television shows and major motion pictures.
